Three Kings and a Queen, LLC
It took a hard-fought Revolution to end the tyranny. There will be no King in America. This nation was forged by the people and for the people. The threat of autocracy was never far from the thoughts of the founders of our nation.
The accumulation of all powers, Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. — James Madison
There is no King, who, with sufficient force, is not always ready to make himself absolute. —Thomas Jefferson
For 250 years checks and balances has kept us prosperous, resilient, and free of oppression, until now.
Trump is casting aside the U.S. Constitution and federal laws, shattering long-established guardrails and is using government power to stifle dissent. President Donald Trump is a tearing down our American democracy by agressively implementing a plan to create an imperial presidency. Acting far more aggressively than he did in his first term, Trump is asserting his primacy over Congress, the courts, the federal bureaucracy, the media, universities, and civil society, while incorporating elements of oligarchy and systemic corruption. Without more pushback against Trump’s unprecedented power grab, the United States could ultimately resemble modern autocracies around the world, such as Hungary and Turkey, with Americans’ safety, prosperity, and fundamental rights suffering the consequences. — From the Center for American Progress, “Trump’s First 100 Days: Creating an Imperial Presidency That Harms Americans”
THREE KINGS AND A QUEEN is a group of like-minded artists who have begun to use their talents to stand up to the oppression of this administration. We feel that by making Art which is what we know best, we can best contribute to fighting the injustices that we see in our great nation today.
Our first offering will be this “NO KINGS IN AMERICA” poster campaign. The poster shows the “Emperor Tiny Hands Draining the Swamp” as the nation’s Presidential White House goes up in flames (the original painting by Patrick (ps) Gordon) as the snakes swirl around him through the fiery waters. Above all of this in the archway of this portal into the present day dystopian world is Thomas Jefferson’s immortal words of warning, “There is no King, who, with sufficient force, is not always ready to make himself absolute.”
After the first “No Kings” protest in Tulsa, Oklahoma, many Americans came up to me asking where they could purchase one of these posters and so now we present this to you who are the sane and are willing to resist the oligarchy that has taken over our democracy.
Each poster that you display says “This is what we think about what is going on right now and we are not going to take it”.
The poster is 18” x 36” and is printed on high quality 65 lb heavy paper.
